Cortona Weddings – Info & Options
Wedding photographer Siobhan Hegarty is originally from Ireland, now based in Umbria. Shpfoto offers wedding photography in the beautiful Tuscan hill town of Cortona in central Italy.
Cortona, a little jewel of a Tuscan hill town, set high above Lago Trasimeno is just a short distance from the Umbrian border with Tuscany. Made famous by the writings of Frances Mayes in her wonderful book Under a Tuscan Sun and her subsequent books.
We are both huge fan’s of Cortona and visit the town whenever we get a chance. Indeed, it was one of the reasons we took our first holiday to this part of Italy, and fell in love with Cortona and its surroundings which finally led to us moving to Umbria!
Siobhan has photographed many weddings in Cortona, and you would be hard pressed to find a more idyllic spot for your wedding and backdrop for your wedding photography. Cortona has some really first class ristoranti and trattoria, lovely cafés, absolutely stunning views from almost any viewpoint and a beautiful main piazza.
What We Do
Siobhan will normally come to the brides hotel or apartment about 45 mins before the wedding ceremony. Siobhan likes to capture the little moments getting ready, makeup, dresses, etc. These shots work very well in black and white and are a great start to the wedding coverage.
Next she normally goes onto the location of the wedding ceremony to get some shots of the groom and party before the bride arrives, time permitting. The wedding ceremony next, and after it is up to you, whatever you want to do. Siobhan will finish up coverage before you sit down for your meal. If you would like Siobhan to stay for all or part of the reception after the meal, dancing etc. then ask us to quote.
When you book your wedding photography in Cortona with Siobhan, she will discuss every aspect of the day with you. She is always happy to accommodate any requests if at all possible.

Notes:
* All of your original high resolution wedding images shot by Siobhan on the day will be colour corrected, if needed by our professional in house digital specialist and minor digital correction will be performed. All images are ready for printing, up to and over A3 size. We create 2 viewing galleries on the DVD for your ease of viewing, one Colour gallery and one B&W gallery. The high resolution images are only supplied in colour, your local print lab will produce B&W prints from these files when asked.
Montage wedding album includes 30 No. 30×40cm montage prints set in bevel mounts in contemporary handmade Italian leather album. The design and layout of each page is done by shpfoto, proof layout will be online for your approval before we print it.
** Postage of the wedding album to your home is not included in the price, we will give you a quotation for postage before you book.
The disk with all your images will be posted to your home address normally about a week after your wedding day, we colour correct all images so they are ready to print. Your photo lab will be able to print black and white images from the originals.
Web galleries will be made and put online a few weeks after you receive your disk.

We work with several Italian album suppliers and have a large selection from which you can choose. You can make a decision on which album / book you would like even after your wedding, there is no rush.
