Professional wedding photographer Siobhan Hegarty, a.k.a. shpfoto.com. Originally from Ireland, now based in Umbria. Shpfoto offers wedding photography throughout Tuscany in central Italy.
Tuscany (Toscana) is a beautiful and popular tourist destination in Italy, and is located in central Italy, along the Mediterranean coast. There are many reasons to visit Tuscany for your wedding, Renaissance art in Florence, eating Tuscan food and tasting the excellent local wines.
One of the most famous regions is Chianti, a popular spot for Tuscany destination weddings along with neighbouring Montalcino and Montepulciano.
Tuscany has two very diverse faces – the art cities such as Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa on one hand, and the countryside on the other. The small towns, villages, castles, villas and vineyards of Tuscany make a welcome change from the traffic and noise of some of the larger Tuscan cities. Wherever you choose to have your wedding in Tuscany you are guaranteed a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photography.
What We Do
Siobhan will normally come to the brides hotel or apartment about 45 mins before the wedding ceremony. Siobhan likes to capture the little moments getting ready, make-up, dresses, etc. These shots work very well in black and white and are a great start to the wedding coverage.
Next she normally goes onto the location of the wedding ceremony to get some shots of the groom and wedding party before the bride arrives, time permitting. The wedding ceremony next, and after it is up to you, whatever you want to do. Time permitting, Siobhan will finish up coverage before you sit down for your meal. If you would like Siobhan to stay for all or part of the reception after the meal, dancing etc. then ask us to quote.
When you book your wedding photography in Tuscany with Siobhan, she will discuss every aspect of the day with you. She is always happy to accommodate any requests if at all possible.

Notes on Montage Wedding Albums
Our Montage Wedding Albums are available in several styles. You can view the different groups which are listed under the Wedding Albums link in the navigation bar at the top of the page. There are different prices for each group and they are,
- Group 1 – €1450.00
- Group 2 – €1550.00
- Group 3 – €1550.00
- Group 4 – €1650.00
Prices listed above are for 30x40cm, 60 page Montage album and include courier delivery of the finished album to your home address. Travel expenses are not included.
* Notes on Travel Expenses for Tuscany Weddings:
We will give you a quotation for travel expenses when you inquire about your wedding. You can get a good idea if you use Google maps and get directions from Acquasparta to your wedding destination. For wedding destinations more than 250km from Acquasparta, our base, there is an additional fee of €100.00 as Siobhan will then need travel the day before and pay for accommodation. If you find this confusing, please don’t be put off, just Contact us for a detailed quotation, we are always happy to negotiate.
Example:
If your wedding is in Siena, Tuscany,
Siena is 170km from Acquasparta
Total 340km x 50 cents = € 170.00 travel expenses will be added to the base price.
General Notes:
All of your original high resolution wedding images shot by Siobhan on the day will be colour corrected, if needed by our professional in house digital specialist and minor digital correction will be performed. All images are ready for printing, up to and over A3 size. We create 2 viewing galleries on the DVD for your ease of viewing, one Colour gallery and one B&W gallery. The high resolution images are only supplied in colour, your local print lab will produce B&W prints from these files when asked.
Wedding album and book sizes and types listed here may change, but not to an inferior product, size or quality. Your CD(s) will be posted to your home address normally about a week or two after your wedding day. Web galleries will be created and put on-line within a few weeks after your wedding day.
