A stylish, happy Wedding day in Rome
Lovely Lorenzo and Sensational Sara had a civil wedding at Vignola Mattei, the Caracalla wedding hall situated in a beautiful quiet part of Rome. It is a much more private and relaxed venue than any in the city centre and suited them and their guests perfectly.
The interior is rustic and intimate and the ceremony was very relaxed and informal with a lot of laughs. The reception was at the elegant Casina di Macchia Madama which is situated on top of Monte Mario, a fabulous location with gorgeous gardens and a panoramic view of Rome in the distance.
Aperitivi were served outside on the lawn followed by dinner in the partially enclosed Terrace. It was my first visit to this amazing villa, it’s very classy and the staff are true professionals, the food and service outstanding. The guests which came from Canada, France, Iran and Italy, the party spilled out onto an adjoining terrace for the “disco” and boy could they party! Finally, the beautiful wedding cake was cut on the lawn under an explosion of fireworks followed by more dancing, this crowd knew how to party.
