With each wedding in Rome, I get more accustomed to the beautiful venues available throughout the Eternal city that can cater for your wedding reception.
I am going to tell you a little bit about some of those available throughout the city and maybe provide an insight into what you can expect.
Please remember these opinions are my own and as each wedding is very different the venues mentioned might not be to everyone’s taste.
I am going to start with my own personal favourite, Casina Valadier. To begin with, it is set in the most beautiful location between the Spanish steps and the Pincio and just inside the Villa Borghese park, therefore quite private and peaceful.
It boasts a stunning entrance with a red carpet and the beautiful backdrop of the Villa itself with stunning views from the terraces. The gardens can accommodate your guests for aperitivi and antipasti. The surrounding area works well for photos of the gorgeous trees and garden. A short walk away you have the most spectacular views overlooking Rome and is one of the better places to enjoy a sunset in the city.
The interiors are both trendy and elegant. The top floor which accommodates wedding parties has the most incredible views with the backdrop of the Vatican through the windows. I have had the pleasure of eating here and without a doubt the food is outstanding. The staff are an absolute joy and always pleasant and happy. Overall very elegant yet a very comfortable and relaxed venue.
A quote from one of my brides sums it up,
Casina Valadier provided a great service for our wedding last summer, from the initial tour of the venue right up to and including the wedding day. We had a magical day with amazing food and wine, all of which was enjoyed overlooking the best view in the city.”
