A beautiful civil wedding in the Sala Rossa in the heart of Rome

Samantha and Gary’s wedding in Rome, wedding ceremony at the Sala Rossa or “Red Room” located at the Campidoglio in the heart of Rome. The weather was perfect, and the dress was huge. The ceremony was short and sweet with our lovely celebrant Deborah Taliani. As always Rome is mad busy, especially in September but we made it to the Colosseum where we managed to plonk the entire train of the dress down on top of a great big muddy puddle! The Spanish steps were crazy but an important place for them both as this is where Gary proposed. It all worked out really well in the end despite the hustle and bustle around us. Drinks and dinner were on the sunny rooftop of the Savoy hotel with beautiful birds eye views over Rome.
