Wedding photography in Tuscany
Tuscany or Toscana is undoubtedly one of the prettiest and the most popular destination for a wedding in Italy. Despite the fact, I hold Umbria nearest to my heart those rolling Tuscan hills and majestic villas and farmhouses dotted in the countryside are always impressive. Tuscany has so much to offer, from rustic to majestic, private villas, exclusive and luxurious Five-star hotels and castles. You can also find many little Borgo’s that often have a church on the grounds and accommodation for guests. There is a lot out there combined with food, culture and stunning scenery it’s easy to see why it’s such a popular wedding destination.
“I don’t like to make any rules, I prefer to run with the flow of the day, letting things happen as we go along. However, I do like just a little bit of private time with the couple alone. Not long, just a stroll away to include the Italian countryside and your venue setting and some romantic moments.”
Siobhan’s information for Tuscany Wedding Photography
I like to be with the bride one hour before the wedding ceremony. To capture the finer details. Your dress hanging, jewellery and behind the scenes drama and excitement. For me, this is where your wedding story begins.
Depending on our location and where the wedding will take place I will always try to include the boys either waiting for the arrival of bride or if at the same venue also getting ready, fixing a tie and some portraits alone. From the bride’s arrival and the exchange of rings, I will shoot away quietly and unobtrusively keeping a respectful distance from your celebrant or priest.
“It’s always nice to have that little bit of time to get some pretty portraits of the bride alone and with her bridesmaids looking flawless and perfectly made up. The first look from Dad and a toast with the girls.”
The perfect backdrop
With its slow-paced way of life, it’s a welcoming place, rich in culture, gorgeous panoramic views and spectacular sunsets. Making Tuscany a perfect backdrop for your wedding day. It may be a popular destination but it doesn’t get any less beautiful!
