Two Poles, One Irish and a Roman walk into a consulate.
Paulina & Michael’s Roman Wedding. For the first time in my life I was asked to be a bridesmaid! I have never been happier, unfortunately lugging my big photography bag about meant I couldn’t wear a posh dress! My best Rome driver Tony was the best man – what a happy bunch we were.
Paulina & Michael looked very chic and incredibly handsome, after wandering the back streets of Trastevere we witnessed their marriage at the Polish Consulate in Rome. Myself and Tony were very proud to be their witnesses and it was very happy moment.
Piazza Navona was the backdrop for our photos and despite the colosseum being almost covered in scaffolding for renovations, (that are going to take a few years!) we managed to get a few snaps on the other side. Both of my new young friends were amused by my fetish with Italian walls, maybe I need some counselling? We finished the shoot with a celebratory glass of chilled prosecco in a very cute side street bar, back where we started.
Thank you both and I hope the driving down south was not too mad!
